Adding a line from the saved price list, at the price already set.
What is said in this recording

Anything on your price list goes into a quote with one press, at the price you already decided on. It is quicker than typing, and it stops the same job being quoted three different ways by three different people.

Step by step

  1. 1

On the quote, scroll to “Add from your price list” under the lines.

Everything you sell is there as a button. If the list is a long one, a search box appears above it.

  2. 2

    Press the service.

The description, the price and the cost all come across with it, in one press. The button you pressed says “Added” for a moment, so you can tell it went in even when the line it filled is further up the page.

  3. 3

Change the quantity if this job needs more than one.

The line total follows on its own.

  4. 4

Edit the description if this job is a bit different.

Changing it here changes this quote only, never your price list.

Worth knowing

The price shown is the price charged

Your list stores the price before VAT. If you type prices with VAT included, the price on the button is the full price and the line lands on the same number. It is not adding VAT twice.
